We’re kicking off the month with something completely different…

The British Comedy Challenge is now live — a brand-new 4-week challenge where you’ll improve your English through classic British comedy clips.

Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, The Office, and more.

Together, we’ll laugh, learn, and explore the weird and wonderful world of British humour — one clip at a time.

What’s the challenge all about?

Every week for four weeks, you’ll get two new video lessons, each one based around a short comedy sketch or scene (around 3–4 minutes long).

We’ll watch the clip together, first without subtitles, then with subtitles, and I’ll walk you through the key expressions, cultural references, and punchlines that make it so funny (or confusing!).

Why a comedy challenge?

Because British humour is clever, surprising, and full of the kind of English textbooks never teach.

Through this challenge, you’ll:

🎭 Understand British humour – Learn how miscommunication, understatement, wordplay, and social awkwardness become comedy gold.

🎧 Improve your listening skills – Follow real spoken English, even when it’s fast, sarcastic, or absurd.

🕛 Registration deadline: Midnight, Sunday 10th August

You’ll also have lifetime access to the challenge materials, so you can go through everything at your own pace—even after the challenge ends.

There’s no public sharing — only other challenge participants can see your comments — and everyone’s learning together.
