This week some amazing curious minds came together for not one but two different Icebreaker meetings. Here's how they went, and a sneak peek into some of the "icebreaker" questions we answered...

One of my favourite things about Leonardo English is meeting the curious minds that listen and learn with our resources.

So, I am always very excited for our monthly meetings - there are a mixture of familiar and new faces, and it's great to meet people from a wide range of different countries.

This month we had two meetings, one on Tuesday 24th and another on Wednesday 25th.

They were both had loose themes of New Year, but we also took turns chatting through "tough" questions like:

What is your biggest hope for 2022?
What would your ideal New Year celebration be?
What is your biggest fear for 2022?
Do you have any English-learning goals for 2022?
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Name a healthy food you enjoy and an unhealthy food that you find hard to resist.

OK, not so "tough", but they are always a fun way of kicking off a question, and practising speaking English in a relaxed and friendly environment with curious minds from all over the world.

And we also played a particularly fun game where each group of 4-5 people had to find one thing that they all had in common. Who would have thought that we had so many bike riders or musicians in our community?

I'm looking forward to the next one already!
