Curious minds from a wide range of countries and backgrounds joined for an enjoyable "Icebreaker" session. Someone even stayed up until 4am their time (Japanese time) to make it! You can read about it here.

It's always fun to chat in English and meet other curious minds, so I was very excited for our penultimate meet-up of 2023.

It didn't disappoint, and we had a bunch of familiar and new faces taking part in this conversation session.

From discussions about hopes and dreams for 2024, December traditions (Christmas & otherwise), through to a culinary exploration, it was a really fun hour.

My favourite round is always the one where we split into small groups and everyone has exactly 5 minutes to try to find the "one thing in common".

Sometimes there are surprising results, and in a group I was in we all realised that we had quite irregular sleep patterns!

Next stop: Christmas Quiz on Tuesday, December 12th. Members, check your emails :)

If you're a member of Leonardo English, keep a lookout for the next session.

And if you're not yet a member but you'd like to join in the fun, I'd love for you to check out our membership options.
