Not at all. Many of the learners had never opened ChatGPT before they started. The challenge begins from first principles and builds up gradually. All you need is a free ChatGPT account and a willingness to try.

The challenge is designed for intermediate to advanced learners — broadly B1 to C2. If you can read this page comfortably and already have some English, you're in the right place. The first cohort included learners from a wide range of levels, and the approach works at all of them.

The eight lessons total just over three hours of video, with most lessons running between 15 and 30 minutes.

There's no required schedule — you can work through at whatever pace suits you. We would recommend setting aside at least 60 minutes per week.

Like anything, the more time you are able to spend, the better your results will be.

You need to sign up before midnight CEST on Tuesday 31st March. After that it will not be possible to automatically join the Learn English with AI Challenge.

Yes. Open your Dashboard and click Billing -> Cancel—it takes under 10 seconds.

When you cancel, renewals stop immediately. You will still have Pro access until your paid time ends (for example: if you pay monthly and cancel today, you can use Pro until the end of this month). After that date, there are no more charges and your membership ends.
